The Senate, the House of Representatives, and the Governor's office are now controlled by the forces of big business, tea party activists, and hard right social conservatives. With the gutting of environmental protections, carving up of the social safety net for our most vulnerable, and the deregulation of the health insurance industry all on the agenda, we are facing dark days indeed.
